How is this record verified?

The rules a single fact passes before it reaches a screen, and how to read the seal stamped on it.

01

What is published

  • Public screens carry PUBLISHED facts only. A change that has not passed verification never reaches a screen.
  • Every fact carries its as-of date and a link to the official source document. When the source's update time and our verification time differ, both are stated separately.
  • A change of party or office never erases the previous value. A new period record is appended, so the history stays.
  • Election-night winners, the members seated at the start of the term, and the current composition are three different things. Their figures are never mixed as if they were one.
02

Reading the seal

The seal states how a fact was confirmed. Its state is carried by the frame style, the engraved character and the word printed beside it — not by colour — so it stays readable without colour vision. These six are all of them.

Record status: Verified (as-of date) KST
Confirmed against an official source. The date beside the seal is when it was confirmed.
Record status: Verified (as-of date) · (count) unmatched
Confirmed, but some rows could not be matched to the source document. The remaining count is printed rather than hidden.
Record status: Being confirmed
Being checked. The screen holds the last verified state and shows no unconfirmed value in advance.
Record status: Development sample
Development sample data. Not a real record — and a screen carrying this mark is kept out of search engines.
Record status: Not yet collected
Not collected yet. An empty frame leaves the gap visible, and means no value was invented to fill it.
Record status: Written by Yeouidorok
Prose written by Yeouidorok itself. There is no external source or date it was checked against, so the seal is undated ink. The service never stamps a green verification seal on its own writing.
03

What "being checked" means

The screen is not blanked while a new change is being checked. It holds the last verified state and says that a check is under way. The wording used is these two lines.

New changes are being verified.

This screen reflects the state verified as of (last verified time).

The value, source and previous value of a change under review are never published in advance. All that leaves the service is whether a pending change exists; the value itself reaches the screen only after it passes verification.

04

How corrections are recorded

A wrongly published value is never silently overwritten. The wrong value, the corrected value, the cause, the time and the evidence are recorded; the old record is closed as corrected, and the new record passes the verification pipeline again. Significant errors are also published on the corrections page.

05

What is not done

  • No legislative-activity scores, pass-rate or attendance rankings, or best/worst labels.
  • No faction labels, no inferred political leanings, no allegations, rumours or anonymous claims.
  • No election forecasts, poll analysis, political news, or AI political commentary.
  • Press coverage is never the sole basis for a fact. An article is only a lead for finding the official document.
  • Official status strings are never altered. Plain-language help is added beside the original wording, never in place of it.
