여의도록 (Yeouidorok)

About

Yeouidorok (여의도 Yeouido + 기록 record) is a public information service that tracks the current state and past changes of the members and parties of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, based strictly on official sources.

It offers neither political news nor political opinion. It does not rate a politician's leanings, popularity, morality, or ability. Instead it provides three things.

Current state: You can check which Assembly is currently in session, how many seats each party holds, and each member's current affiliation and position.
Change history: Party changes, the start and end of positions, and bill-processing stages are preserved as dated period records rather than overwritten.
Official sources: Every factual record carries its source institution, an original-text link, and a confirmation date. From any item on screen you can go straight to the original.

Verification method in brief

Only data disclosed by official institutions, such as the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, is collected. Press coverage is not used as the final basis for a fact.
Collected material goes through format validation and cross-verification between sources; only content that passes verification appears on public screens.
Changes with conflicting sources, or that are not yet fully confirmed, are not published. Meanwhile the screen keeps the last verified state and its as-of date.
When an error is found after publication, it is not quietly overwritten. The incorrect value, the corrected value, and the time of correction are preserved as a correction record.

Rating, ranking, or scoring of politicians
Analysis of leanings such as conservative or progressive
Collecting or exposing suspicions, controversies, or rumors
Political news and election forecasting
Community, comment, or personalization features

Yeouidorok is a non-commercial public-record project run by an individual. It operates without sponsorship from or influence by any particular party or organization.
